And It Ends

Yes, my beloved show ended. After 8 long years. With its first episode being released on the 7th of October 1998, and its final episode for the entire series released just 3 days ago on the 21st of May 2006.

Charmed has charmed its way to me. Though I find that the Charmed ones are extremely fertile at the end of the show, but hey nothing wrong with that.

Gooo the entire cast of Charmed!

Oh and the season finale for Grey's Anatomy also. Yes yes it was out about half a month back, but I just caught up okay? And can't Meredith just choose McDreamy already? I mean, he is soo much hotter than McVet, and he definitely loves her more than McVet does, given the time span and the intimacy and all. Meredith, choose McDreamy! Choose Derek Sheppard! Choose Patrick Dempsey!

And as per this post, all can conclude that Sam was right (as written in Tagboard) I have been spending all my free time catching up on my shows, and neglecting this blog. But sometimes, just sometimes, it's more fun to be sitting back and watching yummy lovely teary lovey-dovey exciting shows than crapping.

And It Awakens From The Dead

Goooooooood morning all! Yep yep yep yep yep. It has finally awaken from the dead. (And I have been pondering for a long long time about the 'awaken from the dead' thing. Should it be 'awake from the dead'? 'Waken up from the dead'? Or something la.)

Aaanyway, I have good news, bad news, great news, no-one-cares news and normal news.

Good news : Tralalalalala...Amazing Race Season 9 ended. And I know who won. Good for them! (P.S. Sam, see? I didn't mention anything about who won. So nice right your ah ma?)

Bad news : Exams are really near. But being me, I don't really care.

Great news : I had a great birthday! Many people remembered and I was deeply touched. To Mr. Anonymous, it's okay that you forgot. Darling Si-toh-be-lei Shin, you don't have to go around the world apologising. It's perfectly utterly fine, and forgetting doesn't make you an awful friend, or any less of my greatest friend.

No-one-cares news : I so finally know who Anonymous is. He was kind enough to let me know through MSN one day. Thanks for taking the burden off. Now I can hentam you for making me wonder for so long.

Normal news : I finally have time to sit down and produce more crap.

Wow! Now, wasn't that the greatest 5-second update ever!

One Month Anniversary

It's been a whole month since I started.

See how I celebrate!

It's my assignment you see. And it's due tomorrow. Fun, fun, fun!

Side note: Couldn't post this up earlier because comp was being stupidly sporky. And if you noticed the time, I wrote it just before it turned 10th May. =)

Case Of The Missing Apple Pie

Case Number : PIE1001

Question :
What would you think when confronted with such horrifying scenes when you step into the kitchen to fill up your kettle?

Scene 1 : Used teabag in a pie-base-thingie
Location : By the sink

Scene 2 : Empty box of Nanna's Lite Apple Pie
Location : In the so-called kitchen bin

History :
A box of Nanna's Lite Apple Pie was left in the fridge. Having consumed two out of four of the apple pies some time ago, there were two left. At approximately 2000 of 2nd May 2006, one of the remaining two apple pies were consumed, leaving only one apple pie in the box. Time of discovery of the missing apple pie was approximately 0030 of 3rd May 2006.

Evaluation :
Point 1 :
Scene 1 shows traces of bits of the pie base stuck on the pie-base-thingie. From this scene, the pie can be said to be missing, either eaten or thrown away.
Point 1(a) :
Usually if something is thrown away, the entire thing would be. If the pie was thrown away, the pie-base-thingie would not have been left at the sink. Therefore, it can be concluded that the pie was eaten.
Point 2 :
Scene 2 shows traces of the box in the bin. From this scene, it can be deduced that the box is empty or the contents meant to be disposed of.
Point 2(a) :
Usually when the contents of something is meant to be disposed of, there would be SOMETHING in the thing that is being disposed of. And since the box looked flat and squashed in the bin, it can be concluded that the box is empty.

Conclusion :
Having not consumed the last apple pie myself, I turned to my roommate. Although knowing that she would not consume my stuff before asking, I had to ask for the sake of clarification. And a definitive answer from her is NO. Which brings me to the conclusion that my 'lovely' landlord, Grandma, has the missing apple pie (most probably) digesting in her system now.

Joy! The case is solved.
