Yesterday, on the way to shopping at Belco, Diong suddenly told me, "There's a surprise waiting for you."
I was like, "Huh? What? What surprise? Tell tell tell. Where? When? What? Tell tell tell."
Of course he didn't. We humans are evil in that sense. We like to keep people in saspens. Syok kata. Of course not when you're on the saspens end.
Aanyway, we were supposed to go to my place after dinner for games and fun. And Cheok didn't join us for dinner cause she has curry waiting for her.
TAAAAAAA-DAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!
Cheok brought the surprise with her when she came. So now I know, and you know, the surprise is a thing. It's a huge thing. It's a nice thing. It's a wonderful thing. It's a beautiful thing. It's an expensive thing.
It's a Monopoly The Here And Now Edition thing. Complete with debit cards and an electronic banking device thing. It's my first Monopoly thing. (I have a Saidina. It doesn't count.)
I feel so grown up now. I'm a big girl now. I have my own Monopoly set. I now have more responsibilities. Having a Monopoly set is such a huge responsibility. I should move on to something that does not involve the word 'Monopoly' and 'responsibility' cause I'm running out of ways to put them in a sentence.
Well, all the best of luck to those who will be around. May you bear with me through the night and live to tell the tale.
