Weird dream.

Just 2 nights ago those of us in Canberra (or those interested anyway) celebrated our nation's 50th independence (a week early) in a night planned by UMNO ACT aptly named "Malam Merdeka". And I was the (one of four) host for the night.

Anyway, that isn't what I'm going to blog about. I was going to talk bout my weird dream that I had that afternoon (that I skipped work so that I could run home to sleep and rest so that I would at least be mildly alive during the night).

So in this dream, I was also sick, and also sleeping. But I was back home. And then some time through my sleeping, I was transported, still sleeping, but at my grandparents' house.

Then I remember stirring then I was like "Eh, what am I doing here?". My brother replied me, "You sick what. You sleeping la. We're at ah kong's house.". I just accepted the answer and went back to sleep.

A short while after, I jumped up and "Eh, what am I doing here? I have a merdeka thing I have to be at tonight!", and then I started to panic and kept saying "I have to go! I have to go! I have to be at this merdeka thing tonight! I'm the mc!".

My brother couldn't console me any longer then my mom appeared. And she went "What merdeka thing? Aiyo, you sick just continue to rest la. No need to go what merdeka thing la." And I continued to rant "Cannot cannot I'm the mc I have to be at the merdeka thing. I told them I'll be there already!".

Then my mom finally caved in and then next thing I knew we were in the car. And I kept asking her to speed up cause we were going to be late.

For some funny reason how we can drive all the way from Malaysia to Australia still amazes me but never crossed my mind at that point in time.

And then police car lights started flashing. And my mom and I went "uh oh!". But then I screamed "Just go faster!", and she heeded my saying and stepped on it.

Zoooooooommm...!

And we had the police car chasing us from behind, trailing us closely.

Bee boo bee boo bee booo!!

Panic increased, but we just kept speeding down the highway.

We nearly crashed into a few cars.

Speeding speeding speeding.

Then I screamed really loudly as we very very nearly crashed into something.





And I woke up.

Guess that shows how much tension I had for the night huh...
