My mommy says she loves this song, cause it makes her think of my daddy.

My daddy's been working overseas ever since I was young, while he's never been in Paris or Rome, he's been in other places.
And no, he hasn't sent letters with a line or two, emails yes la.

He recently applied for retirement, but his company wouldn't let him go. He was supposed to come back in March, but now I don't know when he'll be back.

My mommy gets very lonely when she's alone at home, and I can't do anything to change that. I mean, can la, but that'd mean I've to stop studying or something.
Plus, daddy needs someone to care for him, since his disease doesn't seem to be heading much towards better.

Papa, come home. I miss you, and I know mommy does too, a lot. Dump the company la. Too bad if they can't survive without you. We can't either.
