Apologies for the mini hiatus. Truth is, horrible allergies robbed you (and me) of new blog posts (and me of a life for 2 days), not that if I didn't have the allergy attack that I would have something new to blabber about.
But, as a blessing in disguise, now I DO have something. Them stupid hives. If you don't know what hives are, well, go wiki it or something. Cause I'm really bad at trying to say how it feels and looks like.
My closest explanation was "Imagine a mosquito bite. Now imagine two of those bites close to each other, that they turn out to stick and grow into one big mosquito bite. Seeing the image? Okay, now imagine at least 350 of those, growing into many many many BIG mosquito bites. Yes, that's about how gross and itchy hives feels like." I figured, that's about right.
So now, how can a person living her entire life allergy-free and healthily suddenly develop friggin allergies to (most possibly) seafood? Heck, SEAFOOD! I LOVE SEAFOOD! (I mean, no offense if you don't or if you are allergic to it too, which in this case I'd be adding salt to the wound.) And I have people now telling me, it might be the cause of my allergies and I should stay away from it! NOOOOooooOOOOOoooooOOOOooOOOOooooOOOOoooo!
=(
=(
=(
Oh well, I guess a little break would have to suffice. Because I'm not going to give up on my seafood. (Nor do I feel like experiencing that feeling of itchiness any time soon.)
At least the story of the bee hives and the itchy and scratchy show is now over. And I shall rejoice. Prawn cutlets anyone?
