If I could, I would b-slap Mr T right this second. How is it possible that you
1. did not reply my email
2. laughed in my face when I say I think I did better
3. shrug and say you won't do it?
The case in point is my Microeconomics final results. I had a horrible disappointment when I saw it and knew that I definitely did better.
There are very rare times when I know I've done a paper well enough to receive a mark I deserve. And this was one of them.
I missed out on a pre-arranged exam viewing time due to work, and I emailed him immediately to ask him if he could arrange another time for me. He did not reply my email so I personally went to look for him today.
I asked him if I could and he straight away said "No. No, we don't do that."
I then asked if there was anything I could do and he said "No, we're too busy dealing with the new semester right now. Was it something in particular you wanted to check?".
I said "I figured I did better than what I got." He then laughed sinisterly and said "Lots of people think that because of the mid-semester exam. That was too easy. Even I (and he emphasised on the "I") could've passed that.
And then I just said thanks and walked off.
As I walked off, I started fuming.
How DARE he insulted me for being incompetent.
How DARE he not give me the right I have as a student to view my paper.
How DARE he pushed me away with a reason as silly as "busy".
Tomorrow, I'm going to march into the SA and demand my right as a student. The other day in the SRC meeting, there was actually mention of a high number of appeals this semester due to lecturers forgetting to add in the tute marks to the final mark or something like that.
I'm telling you, if Mr T did just that, I vow to bring this matter to the Chancelry.
