Me against the world.

And another bad day came upon me.

Having woken up at 8am, I was all ready to go check my papers at 9am. Reached there at 9.06am the lady told me that not all the papers were ready and told me to wait a while.

Wait.
Wait.
Wait.

She came back bout 10-15 minutes later slowly pushing the trolley with papers on it. So I went in and asked her to help me check mine.

Check.
Check.
Check.

"Oh sorry your papers are not here. You will have to wait until another staff brings all the rest of the papers from the office."

Wah lao.
Okay. Never mind. I wait. And it was 9.25am already.

Later at bout 9.35am the other lady pushed the rest of the papers in. So I told her to check mine again.

Check.
Check.
Check.

"Oh sorry. It seems as if your papers aren't here. Maybe you should email your lecturer to have a look at your paper instead."

Wah lao.
You just wasted 40 minutes of my time and you told me I should email my lecturer? Duh I knew that already.

And the worst part on top of wasting 40 minutes was wasting an hour of work. By wasting that forty minutes waiting to see a paper that wasn't even there, I missed out on an hour's worth of work.

In this fight against the world, I'm losing. Pretty badly. =(
