The nightmare before the morning.

Results came out!

S***!!! I failed 3 subjects out of 4!!!

Of the 3 I failed, two of them scored a single digit number. I got 1/5 for one course, and 4/10 for the other. The 3rd failure seemed like a blur though.

So once I saw the results, I started running around the uni compound (I checked my results in uni) and then I realised, wow this uni is pretty and huge too.

It had glass doors and elevators like some sort of mall, except it was all quiet and I was the only one scurrying around.

So I ran around the uni compound, with all its glass doors and elevators in search for my lecturers who failed me.

When I found one of them, he was walking along a corridor, and I ran and said "Why did you fail me? How did I fail? I want to see my paper! I can't have done SO badly!".

Then he calmly told me "Oh you did horribly." Then somehow he produced my paper and I flipped through it. [This was the paper I got one mark for.] And flip flip flip, and all I saw were my own writing and then on this one page, there's this one HUGE tick across it. And that was it. That one tick. Which gave me that one mark.

So I was like, where did I go wrong? And he was like, all of it were wrong!!

So I started begging, can't you mark me right? I need to graduate!!

And he shook his head. And after more begging, I gave up and decided to try the other lecturer.

This time, the lecturer was in this class full of students. She was obviously teaching a class. And it sure looked like one of my MC classes, with wooden desks and plastic chairs. I couldn't care less that a class was in session and barged in demanding to see my paper.

And again miraculously, she just produced my paper and again I flipped flipped flipped through it. This time, there were no markings on the paper, but just one mark - 4. Whilst I was flipping she continued teaching, and when I was done, I approached her again and this time she seemed a little frustrated with my existence.

I started my routine of begging for marks, need to graduate blabla..and this time she gave in. I was 1 mark away, and she just gave it to me, since I sent in a special consideration form before the exam due to my being sick.

So yes, 1 down, 1 failed, 1 more to go!

So I ran ran ran in search for the 3rd lecturer and my alarm rang.

I woke up, worried sick that I failed 3 courses.

Thankfully, here I am, proud to proclaim that I am AN OFFICIAL GRADUATE FROM ANU CLASS OF 2008!!
