*death*

If there's anything I learnt today, adrenaline and sugar can keep you working for 12 hours, on a 13.5 hour long spree with 1.5 hours break in between.

I ended my 6-hour long shift at bakery from 7.30am to rush to Target for another 3-hour long + 3-hour long shift with an hour break in between. And by 8pm, I had reddish eyes and sore feet and sore hands and my brains were shutting down.

To make things worse, for my second 3-hour long shift I got transferred off to Ladieswear. In the apparel world, if there's one department you never want to be in, it's Ladieswear. I have been very very content with Baby Wear, okayly content with Menswear and then my manager decides to throw me into Ladies.

I managed to conclude something as I was working today. Either I am more efficient than the ang mohs who work with me, or my managers hate me. They seem to always send me to the worst disaster area, and get me to clean up the entire place before the end of my shift.

If it was because I was more efficient, probably I am the only person who CAN clean up before the end of the shift. [Haha, self praise much?]

If they hate me, it's because it's in such a bad condition that they need to korban me to go fix it up.

Either way, it's no fun. I don't like being bounced around. Cause I keep having to memorise new places for things. Not like it's hard, seeing as my brain has been built with a memory for the most nonsensical things [this definitely classifies as one of those], but just that it's a bit annoying. Especially when I'm still memorising and I have customers coming up to me to ask if I knew if there were any more of so-and-so, or where is so-and-so, and I would appear dumb cause I have no idea yet.

Like if they came to me in Baby Wear, I could just direct them right away. There, there, there. Owh wells.

I also found out today that I won't get my staff card for another 2 months. Boo. Both my "closest" new friends who started at the same time already got theirs, because they're permanent part timers and they get theirs after a month. Bleh.

But haha, I must say, seeing as how my shifts keep increasing, and referring to my manager's speech the other time, and seeing how I'm NOT seeing that annoying girl who complained bout her smelly feet, I'm guessing I earned those shifts and she's not getting any. I must be doing something right, even though my name tag is still a sticker and I still don't have a phone of my own.

Work is tiring, but definitely rewarding. =) More so when the bank balance keeps increasing. *wink*
