I went to work today. And yes, that sure sounds mighty normal, EXCEPT, today is Family and Community Day (read: Public Holiday)!

And public holiday means....DOUBLE TIME (or double time and a half)!!!

And THAT means I either earned $40 an hour today or $50 an hour today, AND I WORKED SIX WHOLE HOURS!!!

I finally know how it feels to earn holiday pay. It feels GOOOOOOOOODDD....

And then Westpac called, and I'm going in on Tuesday for my second and final interview, and I'm meeting with the Regional Manager lo! Hope I get this one, definitely a good stepping stone to THAT DREAM JOB.

And then I now also have a night job - working for Fang Yeau in his restaurant. Pay isn't much I think, but it's $$$, I fill up my nights and I get fed yummy food. =)

SO, like I said before, everything's going well. And THAT DREAM JOB would make life heaven. Of course, having a place to stay next year would also help immensely.
