1830(approx.) 08 April 2006. Lake Burley Griffin, ACT, Australia.
That was the time when we reached the lakeside. Seeing as Phebes, Liz and someone-I-didn't-know (yet) have set up our picnic site, we (me, Veng, Will, Eu Gene, Hazel, PJ, Beng) set up an extra bedsheet to be sat on. Ter Lee found his way to us, since he was there much earlier.
When we were settled, the food was brought out and we feasted. Feasted being the word used. Cold spaghetti, pancakes, garlic bread, hot tea, fizzy drink, tuna, bread, chips, choc chip cookies. You name it, we would most prolly have it there. (Salivating yet, anyone?)
Not only was there loads of food, there was music as well. And not to forget, the wonderful twinkling stars and the bright moon to accompany us that night. We partied, with the swans in the lake, with the company of friends, with the sparklers I brought along.
All in all a wondrous night, had not Mr.Wind decide to crash the party. Guess his little brother Mr.Breeze could not persuade us to leave. And as if Mr.Wind was not enough, he brought Mr.Chill with him. Guess he must be pissed that we were invading his privacy.
We finally gave in to the strong Mr.Wind+Mr.Chill. Especially me. I never was a big fan, even back in Malaysia. Me wrapped up in a cocoon of blankets, we trudged back home, satisfied with the outcome of the entire night. Star-gazing we wanted to do, and star-gaze we did (though not much).
Side note: I pray that I shall not think of you much.
