Of flying cars and curry-eating little girls.

So there was the four of us, in Willy's car, driving through these roads that look like Australian highways, and then we suddenly turned into this little town with buildings sticking out from the ground.

And Willy asks, "Anyone wants to buy anything from this store?".

And I looked around. It says "Meringgi Supermart, Penang".

(I could've gotten the Meringgi part wrong, I know it starts with an M and the rest is fuzzy.)

And I asked, "How did we get to Penang??".

Someone answered, "We drove here? DUH!".

Then I got excited and started staring out the windows, noticing how come Penang was so...covered in bushes and underdeveloped.

And then, I said, "Since we're here, let's go get Kar How! And we can see his house too!"

And all agreed. So we headed there. Somehow Willy seemed to know the way. But on the way, we met Kar How himself walking by the road, near some rough terrain. So we said, "Eh, want to go back already or not, can tap sung fung che."

So he said, "Hmmmmmmmmm....(in all Karboy-like way) Let me think first."

So while he thinks, I suggested we go to his place and have a look.

He said it's not too far away, so Willy said okay and he led us there. And we drove and drove and drove. Bout half an hour passes, lots of bushes, lots of rough terrain and still we drove whilst Kar How walked. (Somehow no one thought to invite him in to sit in the car.)

And then the car drove past my childhood best friend. And I gasped! I turned to the person in the front seat, who happened to be his (my childhood best friend's) dad. And I eyed him suspiciously.

He looked away, not daring to meet my eyes, then confessed. Apparently in Lim Kok Wing Institution (where he is studying now) he was so popularly chased by girls that three of them stick to him all the time, but he's too nice to push them away so they just tag along wherever he goes, disrupting his studies and his life. So they secretly shipped him here.

Everyone in the car went "Oooooooooooo..."

And then Dad of Childhood Friend started reminiscing bout the past.

I was too busy to pay attention as we started approaching houses which seemed to stick out of the air. There was this one particular house that had the words "VANILLA" painted on it's front porch.

And then we saw parking lots. They were somehow underground, but we parked and then we went out. Ying and I got out slower than the rest cause we had a hard time squeezing out of the back seats.

And then we had to go down some steps to enter the housing area. There was curry dripping everywhere. Yellow gooey gross curry. Like you know how dilapidated staircases are dripping with gooey stuff, these looked like curry.

And then down one flight of stairs, there's this one kid, collecting the dripping curry, then stuffing them in her mouth, then spitting them out. It seemed like a supernatural moment cause the kid looked Ju-On kid-ish. With long black hair and all that jazz.

But I was trying to ignore it, so I didn't mention my seeing it to Ying, and I felt her feeling the same. So we just moved on.

Then we reached these houses, and we lost sight of the rest of the troupe. So we just followed curry footsteps on the ground.

There was no reaching Kar How's place though. Somehow we just ended up in Canberra, me on my bed and my alarm clock screaming for me to snooze it. Note: SNOOZE it.

So was it teleportation? Or has my memory been wiped out by a certain Haitian?

Jeng jeng...
