The second H word.

H-O-T.

One word that wholly describes the current weather conditions here in good ol' Canbo.

The heat feels way worse than the one I get at home in Malaysia due to the humidity and the lesser amount of clouds.

And when you experience weather like these:

  • You learn to appreciate the goodness of an air conditioning unit in your room.
  • You feel like running home every time you have a chance to.
  • You feel like dunking yourself in the bathtub, but realise you haven't got one so you feel content with staying under the cold shower for a long period of time (i.e. 30 mins - 1 hour).
  • You find working in a bakery with hot ovens excruciatingly painful.
  • You tend to get worked up more easily due to the extreme heat frying your brains.
  • You tend to get sleepy everytime you reach a cooler place because it's the sort of thing that you go "aaaahhhh....." and your whole body relaxes and you just go into sleep mode.

But somehow, I'm not nearly as ready to let go of the summer weather yet. I do very much prefer the sun to the cold.

Even though I do always complain: "I'm mellllttiinnnngggg......"
