And today...I visited the VERY site that Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas and Gandalf were. Where the Great Hall stood and where the battles took place.

It was a truly stunningly spectacular view. To be able to hike up there (though, mostly by car) and be on that very same peak felt more than fantastic. And to be able to hold up the weapons that the very same celebrities used to fight in those battles, and the flag that was used in the movies made me feel like I was at the set!
