The one thing that I really found interesting and memorable about Christchurch, aside from the stunning views would have to be...

it's power saving pedestrian crossing lights. [It really is cool to me okay, don't laugh.]

For one, it would save all current and future tenants of room 105 (and many other rooms as well) in Academie House to sleep in peace whilst having their windows open, as it wouldn't teketeketeketeke all through the night.

For two, it's green! Saves electricity, saves energy, saves the environment, saves the world!
