Nuu yerrrrr!

HAPPEE NUU YEERRRRRR 2009!!!

'Twas a great celebration in Canberra. Definitely NOT comparable to that of Sydney or KL, but it was my very very very first New Year NOT spent at home. You see, for the past 20/21 years, New Year's Day has been spent at home: watching the TV, watching shows on my laptop, reading a book, playing games or sleeping. Not once have mommy and I (and other family members) ventured out (well, maybe my brothers, I don't know) to join in with the KLCC or other celebrations. It's just cause it's too crowded. We'd have to be kissing people's hair and having our bodies being (hopefully) innocently touched by those around us.

And you see, that's another great thing bout Canberra, there's not enough people to be (innocently or purposely) touching you. So there we were, at Civic Square. We being Diong, Boy, Hong Yin and Will (plus Brandall, Corina, Wen Sern, Willy and mom who were there too). We heard this band called Enormous Horns, we waited for the countdown, the countdown board tersalah showed the time, then the Powerpoint slide became "Happy New Year 2009" and we went "Eh? New Year already?" and everyone got confused and started kissing hugging when suddenly the countdown board came back alive with someone on a mic going 20, 19, 18...

Then we ahahahhahahahah board also spoil, what lah. Then we 17,16,.....10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1....and the fireworks started!!! And as per usual Canberran style it synced with the music. So we watched, wah lau, we were so near I could smell them fireworks remnants. Then watch watch after bout 10 minutes then over then we went back to continue our half-played game of Manila.

Tell you ah, we all super no life now, except Ah Boy of course, who still has a job.

After having Hong Yin and Will spending bout 24 hours in my room, like really - they came to my place like late last night after fireworks and games, stayed over, woke up this morning, played more games, and just left - I finally caught up on my Amazing Race.

Wah lau, to watch this show you cannot have a weak heart. Cause right, I feel for the people, especially those that I want to win la of course. And they did...win! Woooot... Hot chicks and hot guys rule! But right, I feel bad for Toni and Dallas, cause right, they lose their passports, and they weren't at the final mat!

I mean, Phil shouldn't be so evil la. Unless of course, they couldn't leave Russia, so they're still stuck there. But then right, if the cameraman noticed it, shouldn't they try to stop that cab and help retrieve their things? I mean, confiscate it lah, cause they lost it, but return it to them after ma. And then let them go on the mat so that there can be further advancements on the Starr and Dallas story ma! Aishhh...

But I tell you. I'm totally smitten with that guy now. The more he played, the more he was composed throughout, the more supportive he was, gosh I want that in a man. Calm, patient, loving....oh I missed out hot.

Ahahahha...anyway. There you go. Post for you hungryboy86 and winter11.

And yes yes I won't forget also: pictures for you winter11 and PR APPLICATION as a reminder for myself. =P

i knoew right.. he so sweet..

ohmygosh thats totally what i thought when i didnt see toni and dallas at the mat! takkan none of the crew couldnt track down that cab and get his passport back!

but nick is such a sweet older brother! :) add to my list for potential candidates to live up to.. :P
