An SR by appointment.

I have recently been appointed an unofficial SR for the students of Academie House. For some of them anyway.

As an SR, I have certain responsibilities. Amongst which are:
- organising a Commencement Dinner
- providing random knick knacks such as frying pan, pillow, blanket, brush, keycard, pencil, desk lamp, extra cooking ingredients...
- providing cleaning appliances and tools such as mop and vacuum
- provide storage facilities when needed
- helping out to set up rooms such as bringing milk cartons back from work
- providing snacks where and when possible (i.e. leftover food from work)
- allow room as use for common area
- leave door unlocked when at home so that room can be used as a common area
- bringing back goodies from uni ranging from free stuff during Market Day to other sorts of free stuff
- providing Internet facilities
- providing household advice such as "how long can I keep chicken?" and "can I keep leftover curry in the fridge?"
- not to sleep early as the students might turn up at the door in the hopes of looking for me only to find me fast asleep in bed
- other miscellaneous odd errands

This SR business doesn't actually offer me any benefits, unlike those of the halls and colleges. But I must say, it is pretty fun.
