Aiks.

I knew lah, PR application quite a long process.
I knew lah, got a lot of things to settle before I can actually lodge it in.

But I didn't REALLY know how MANY things there are to do!

Wah...and now with the visa expiry date looming nearer and nearer, I start to panic and rush things through. Aiks, hope it will all be settled by next week.

I'm more afraid of the time that things will take to process. Those things that I need in order to lodge in my application - the sponsorship reply, the skills assessment results, the police clearance, the completion letter from uni, the health check results.

I mean, they all lead on one to another. Without my completion letter, I can't submit my skills assessment, of which without it, I can't lodge my sponsorship application, without which I can't apply for my PR.

BUT, I do have a load of good news, none of which are guaranteed but proven possible. Firstly, sponsorship lady told me 99% I can get the sponsorship. Then Chern told me, if I did get the sponsorship I would be assigned a Case Officer within 10 days (normal duration being 2 months) and I can get my PR within a month (normal duration 6-8 months++) !!

I TELL YOU, if I really can get it SO FAST right and everything goes smooooothly right, I will be SO thankful, I would stay in Canberra my whole life. Not that I haven't thought of it as an option.

I can't wait!!

In another realm, I will be "investing" in a stall business with Chern and friends during the Canberra Day Festival to be held in Commonwealth Park on the 9th of March. I will get a share of profits (whoopdeedoo!) and invest my time in the production and sales process.

I figured, since my life is SO FULL OF ACTIVITIES right now, why not go invest in a small time temporary business which can earn me some money? Rather than rotting at home, right?

So, we will be selling Deep Fried Ice Cream, a really special recipe and tastes great (no, I'm not biased cause I'm selling it, I say it cause I mean it) and Cheeseballs (of which I haven't tried but seems to taste really yummy) and super cheap drinks.

If you're around in Canberra, do come by, don't give me no excuse bout classes cause it's a public holiday, nor excuses bout assignments cause it'll just be the start of Week 3 then. If you're not, I promise in whatever free time I have, I will take loads of pictures to share with you. Or if that's not possible, I promise to share my experience in words so that you can imagine yourself being there. =)

I just suddenly reminisced about my New Year spent with my lovelies, watching fireworks. Miss you guys loads and I really wish you were still here.

*Haha. If I do get my PR so super duper fast, I can defacto all of you one-by-one and then once you get your PR too, I "divorce" you. =P

So all of you, pray for me kay? I mean, not just as yet, cause I haven't actually lodged it in. Save it for once I do, trust me I'll let you know when. *wink*
